I am a 20-year old Multimedia and Design student named Tamara...who is always a bit crazy due to lack of sleep and an overabundance of caffeine.

This is an awesome shirt, but… Make your own damn Olympic gear, Canada. I am ashamed that such a strongly Canadian symbol like the Hudson’s Bay Company must resort to cheap overseas labour and materials in order to produce products which are supposed to represent this great country and its people. Yes, it costs more to manufacture things here. But don’t cut corners on our image as a nation while we are on the global stage for all the world to see. Olympic visitors should be going back to their countries with authentic, quality “Made in Canada” souvenirs, not cheaply-produced Chinese-branded-Canadian products. Canada is not just another brand. It is Our Home and Native Land. Use its resources and give us something to be proud of.
